About us

Over the past ten years Chalmers and Co have grown into one of the most established sustainable builders in Sussex.

We undertake a wide variety of work varying from renovation of period and listed property to domestic extension and new build houses. Chalmers and Co also have a reputation for high specification commercial and public work. Our current contract values range from £50,000 - £600,000.

Chalmers and Co have particularly strong knowledge of green building practices and modern construction systems. We have built projects using ground source heating, solar installation, wind power and grey water recycling systems. Several of our projects have won awards and been featured in the Observer and Telegraph newspapers.

Our reputation is founded on the excellent three-way relationship between us, the architect and the client and this has been the corner stone of our success over the last ten years.
