Bacons Farm, Scaynes Hill.

A grand, newly built house for a local family. The house succesfully blends modern style with the traditional Sussex vernacular. Built with local brick and handmade clay tiles to a high specification. The staircase is made from laminated plywood which gives a very slim zigzag profile without the use of intermediate supports.
